The Strate School of Design adventure
From 2013 to 2020
Appointed director in 2013 of what was then called Strate College, Dominique Sciamma completely transformed it, establishing it as a school that matters, a school that thinks, a school that speaks out.
Renamed Strate School of Design, with a new tagline – ‘Making the world simpler, fairer, more beautiful’ – the school has enjoyed continuous growth under Dominique's leadership, particularly through its training programmes, but also through the three campuses created during his tenure:
-
Strate Bangalore in India, which has developed magnificently under the leadership of Thomas DAL.
-
Strate Singapore, with its Master in Design for Smart Cities, designed with Jacques Malz, its director. With several Master's degrees intakes and numerous professional training programs (over 150 people trained), the school was impacted by the Covid-19 crisis and the 18-month closure of Singapore's borders to international students.
-
Strate Lyon, designed with Guillaume Lom Puech, who developed it with talent and panache, the Lyon campus has invented a new model, while remaining faithful to the parent company's core values.
